FREZIE

Frezie is a new seltzer drink flavored with real fruit juice. The client finds the following keywords most important to them:
1) Fresh—This drink is made with real fruit.
2) Modern—This is a drink with contemporary values.
3)Fun—Not a fitness drink or a replacement for water but a healthier replacement for Soda.
The response was to create packaging design for the can that echoed these values. A custom hand-lettered logotype and an halftone pattern in the background (to represent the bubbles present in seltzer) helped give the design its energy while maintaining overall balance and cohesiveness.
The slogan, "Crack. Gulp. AHHHHH" was developed as a way to embody the refreshing feeling that's associated with drinking the beverage. Onomatopoeias appeal to the senses of the customer while at the same time, in this case, attach the feeling of satisfaction to the product. It also serves as a CTA, giving clear directions to those interested in the drink.
